There's a few different types of rooms ours has 2 bedrooms a mini fridge an a bathroom, the one below us has 1 room 2 beds a kitchen an a bathroom. The price varies the one next to us has a Jacuzzi its $90 a day, ours is $230 a week, it's got cable, water, and electric included no wifi.
I rented a cabin for 2 nights for my sons honeymoon this past weekend. I called and told the owner I needed a full kitchen because they would be on their honeymoon and they needed to be able to cook etc. The pictures on the webpage sowed a full kitchen, fireplace, Jacuzzi, great view etc.I booked the room and I do remember her telling me the room had a microwave and refrigerator which I didn't think much of because it would've been part of the kitchen. She advised me that there were some workers staying there as well and that accommodations could be made. The room costed 105.00 a night roughly and they did not take cards everything had to be paid up front with cash. (That should've been my first red flag) But because the had their heart set on this place from what the pics depicted I sent her 210.00 cash via moneygram. When we got to the motel after their wedding what we found was a room with just a microwave and refrigerator very small tv king size bed and tub Jacuzzi. The room was approx. 25ftx15ft. and was extremely cramped and outdated. They left after the first night because of the claustrophobic feelings and the disgust on how their honeymoon was supposed to be special and couldn't be. This room was extremely misrepresented and I can understand now why they only accept cash. I contacted the owner and she simply said I'm sorry but the pics are the rooms behind the one you rented. If I had used a card a stop payment would've been issued immediately. I do even though it was through ignorance feel like a complete failure in the planning of my only sons honeymoon. One thing is for sure though this is lesson learned and ill never do business with anyone without using a card for payment.
