Jason gave us a great deal on two WaveRunners while setting us up on quick notice on Labor Day. Michael helped us get in and out of the water safely. The Captain kept us entertained going out and coming back in!
We had a great day on the water thanks to JBeez Watercraft. They were prompt in their delivery and the staff was very professional. The two Waverunners were the perfect addition to our vacation and we all had a wonderful time. This was my first time using their rental service but it definitely will not be the last.
My husband was ready to leave after our tutorial, but said he didn't want to ruin our day since we were there to celebrate birthdays. Anyway, we followed them down to the boat dock, got it loaded and away we went..... unbeknownst to us, in a boat that took over 45 mins to start on several occasions AND without an anchor AND with zero ropes to tie off to a dock! After spending over an hour at the marina trying to get it to start, we called them to come pick it up after spending less than 3 hours on it and over 3/4 of the time was spent trying to get it to start.
That pretty much included..... start the boat every 30 mins so it will keep running.
We decided to use JBeez this year on our annual girls trip because it was $100 cheaper than going through Hurricane Marina. It was different that each person on the boat had to show up at the shop to sign paper work, but we thought for $100 savings why not. They were rude from the minute we arrived. We finally get to the water where the boat is and it is old and dirty. Not a huge deal, so we took off. After the first person got in the water we realized the pontoon had no ladder. I called back to JBeez where I was informed none of their pontoon's have ladders, I ask him to have the manager call. About 30 minutes later the manager calls and says "oh you must have got the boat where the ladder broke off". He offered to meet us back at the ramp to get one, but at that point we opted not to waste our time. We were also only give a small anchor that didn't serve much of a purpose. Pay a little more and go somewhere else!
What to do if it doesn't start....etc. etc. After numerous times of the owner trying to get the boat to start at the rental place, it wouldn't start -- we should have known then to RUN!!
So if you want to rent a jalopy and look like Clark Griswold on Center Hill Lake, then this is the boat place for you to go.
We have used JBeez several times for pontoon rentals to get out on the lake. The pontoons are spacious and comfortable and they are great people to work with. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a way to get out and enjoy the lake!
Worst boating experience EVER!! Don't waste your money but more importantly, do NOT waste your time. When we called to get rental pontoon boat I asked how old their boats were.... was told they were new. Well, yes -- they are new.... NEW TO THEM. We were put on the most ridiculous boat EVER, it was AT LEAST 30 years old. Manager came out to show us how to start the engine and had to show us "important" features of the boat.
